MISSIONS
The Church has been commissioned by God to spiritually provide for all people in the world. The mandate is: "Go to all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, and he that believes will be saved" the Lord says. Mark 16:15
"And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, even with you, that it was necessary that all that is written of me should be fulfilled in the law of Moses, in the prophets, and in the psalms. And he opened his understanding that they might understand the scriptures; And he said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary that Christ should suffer, and be resurrected from the dead on the third day, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name in all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things." Luke 24: 44 - 48
We are a community that understands our purpose is evangelistic and missionary in nature. This is the very reason the Church exists on the earth—to proclaim and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Gospel cannot be confined within four walls or limited to one city; it must be carried throughout the world, for all humanity is in need of forgiveness and salvation.
We are a people called to serve the Lord. This calling is our commitment—not an option, but an expression of our gratitude and responsibility as the Church. We cannot remain silent; instead, we are called to proclaim the praises of Him who brought us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Missionary work is not merely an activity—it is the Church in action and one of its greatest responsibilities on the earth.
For this reason, our local church places a strong emphasis on missionary ministry. Through it, we are able to reach souls in need and engage diverse cultures and ethnicities, reflecting the multicultural and transcultural nature of the Body of Christ. Wherever the Lord Jesus Christ sends us, we establish evangelistic outreach and aid programs.
