STATEMENT OF FAITH
GOD
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct, but equal, persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator and supreme ruler of the universe.
Matthew 28:19, Genesis 1:26-27, 1st Peter 1:2, 2nd Corinthians 13:14, Psalm 24:1
JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, shares equality with the Father. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus is fully God and fully man. He led a sinless human life and willingly offered Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead on the third day, manifesting His power and authority over sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will return to the earth again to reign as King.

HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit shares equality with the Father and the Son. Upon ascending into heaven, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to the believers as a helper in their christian walk. He is present in the world to convict people of sin, righteousness, and judgement, and to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives within every christian upon salvation. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live righteously and gives them understanding of the truth. According to scripture, the Holy Spirit indwells, infills, enlightens, empowers, leads, guides, corrects, convicts, and comforts the believer.

THE BIBLE
We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible and believe it is God’s word for all people. We acknowledge the scriptures as a compilation of writings by human authors who were supernaturally guided by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is infallible and the supreme source of truth. The Bible serves as the ultimate authority for the believer’s faith and shapes the practices of the church.
2nd Timothy 3:15-16, Romans 15:4, 2nd Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5
HUMANITY AND SIN
We believe all people are created in the image of God to have a relationship with Him. When sin entered the world, humanity became separated from God. Because of the sinful human nature resulting in disobedience, people cannot regain a right relationship with God through their own efforts. This relationship with God is only restored through repentance, accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, and surrendering to His Lordship.
Genesis 1:27, Genesis 3, Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 3:23
SALVATION
We believe salvation is bestowed upon humanity as a divine gift from God for the forgiveness of sin. No one can earn salvation by good works. Rather, the free gift of salvation is received when people place their complete faith and trust in the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Only then can they be free from the penalty of sin and have eternal life.
John 1:12, John 3:16-17, John 14:6, Romans 5:1-2, Romans 6:23, Galatians 3:26, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5
ETERNITY
We believe God created humanity to live forever. Humans are flesh, soul, and spirit. The spirit is eternal and re-generated by faith in Christ. People will either exist eternally separated by God through sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Hell is the place of eternal separation from God and Heaven is the place of eternal union with God.

FIVE FOLD MINISTRY
We believe in the five-fold ministry: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers to equip believers in Christ for the work of service and to build the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-12

BELIEVER'S RESPONSIBILITY
BAPTISM
We believe baptism is the outward public expression of an inward commitment to follow Jesus. Once a person has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we believe water baptism is an important step in their proclamation of faith. We practice baptism by immersion under water as Jesus was baptized. When a believer is baptized they identify with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection by dying to sin and rising to a new life in Christ.
Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:12, Romans 6:3-4, Acts 22:16, Galatians 3:27
COMMUNION
We believe in taking communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of the world. During Jesus’ last days on earth, He gathered His disciples and commanded them to consume bread and wine in remembrance of Him. The bread and wine are symbols of His body, broken for us, and blood, poured out for us.
Luke 22:19-20, Matthew 26:26-28, John 6:53-58, 1st Corinthians 10:16, 1st Corinthians 11:26-29
WORSHIP
We believe that we were created to be loved by God and in turn love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Worship is beyond signing songs, it involves the way a believer lives their life to honor God in everything. To worship God is to humble oneself and recognize His holiness, beauty, and truth. True worship is a lifestyle of sacrifice, love, and gratitude where the believer responds to God and what He has done.
Mark 12:30, John 4:23-24, Colossians 3:16, Psalm 29:2, Psalm 103:1
GIVING
We believe giving is an act of worship to God. We believe generosity is an act of gratitude to God for the blessings He has given us. As a church, we practice giving tithes and offerings to support the body of Christ, the Church, both locally and internationally. We believe in kingdom generosity, as demonstrated by the early church, for the expansion of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
Genesis 14:18-20, Matthew 6:21, Luke 21:1-4, Acts 4:32-37, 2nd Corinthians 8:1-5, 2nd Corinthians 9:7
SPIRIT LED LIVING
We believe it is only by God’s power at work within us, that we can live the Christian life. Believers mature in their faith and are conformed to the image of Christ in the measure that they obey His word and yield to His Spirit. Believers seek to live their lives surrendered and dependent to God, walking in the Spirit instead of the flesh. In doing so, the fruit of the Holy Spirit grows in the believer, enabling them to walk uprightly and in obedience before God.
Ephesians 5:18, John 15:5, Romans 8:5, Psalm 143:10, Galatians 5:16 & 22-25, 1st Corinthians 2:14
THE GREAT COMMISSION
We believe every Christian has been commissioned by God to share the Good News of the Gospel of Salvation. It is the believer’s responsibility to share the love of God with others and tell the world about Jesus.
Matthew 28:19, 1st Peter 3:15, Romans 1:16, Romans 10:14-15, Acts 1:8, Proverbs 11:30
